Fight Pain and Recover More Effectively with Our MLS Laser Packages

Nov 2, 2021

Multiwave locked system (MLS) laser therapy has been a powerful tool in helping so many of our patients overcome sports injuries, heel pain, and other conditions more effectively.

If laser therapy helps you feel better and get back to doing the things you love more effectively (and without having to worry about complications or side effects, at that), then we’re more than happy to recommend it whenever we feel it will meet your needs.

MLS laser therapy is typically not a “one-and-done” treatment, however. It often takes multiple sessions spanning several weeks to achieve the best results, with the benefits stacking more and more with each session.

With that in mind, we offer special packages of laser treatment, allowing patients who need or desire many sessions some significant savings!

MLS Laser Therapy Packages

We make recommendations for MLS laser therapy based upon a thorough examination of each patient’s symptoms, lifestyle, medical history, and personal needs. We will never recommend it unless we believe you have a great chance of benefiting from it.

Different patients may also benefit most from a different number of sessions, depending on the condition in need of treatment, its severity, and how long it has existed. More chronic problems often require more sessions to reap optimal results.

Our savings packages for MLS laser begin with a free initial session when at least 3 are purchased. Purchase 10 or more and 2 free sessions are provided.

The average price of an individual session is $75. Taking that into mind:

  • Purchasing 6 sessions for $450 will provide the 7th session free – saving a little more than $10 per session.
  • Purchasing 10 sessions for $750 will provide 2 additional sessions free – saving about $13 per session.

Purchasing more than 10 sessions will provide a savings of about $15 per session.

On top of these package deals, we also provide a discount for the treatment of bilateral or multiple sites. Laser treatment sessions for a second site will be 25% off.

If you have any questions about these packages or discounts whatsoever, please don’t hesitate to contact us about them. We’ll be happy to discuss how the deals might apply to your specific situation.

When Might MLS Laser Therapy Be Recommended?

MLS laser therapy is a form of regenerative medicine, meaning that it works by stimulating and aiding the body’s natural healing responses – all without the need to introduce drugs or chemicals into the body.

The light energy from the laser treatment creates a minor disruption at the site of an injury or chronic pain, which the body responds to by increasing cellular activity and blood flow within the area. This not only helps cells to conduct repairs faster but provides more of the growth factors and other tools within the blood they need to do the job. As it does, local pain signals can also be blocked, providing more relief as healing is accelerated.

MLS laser therapy is often particularly effective against injuries based on soft tissue damage. Conditions affecting muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and other tissues may be considered for this type of treatment.

Conditions that laser therapy could potentially be effective on include:

  • Certain causes of heel pain, such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis (in fact, we just recently wrote a blog about how MLS laser therapy can help overcome heel pain).
  • Peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage)
  • Neuromas
  • Certain forms of arthritis
  • Wounds, ranging from surgical to diabetic

Remember that laser therapy is not always restricted to recent injuries, but can be effective on causes of chronic pain as well. The same natural responses that can accelerate the current healing of an injury can also “restart” healing that has lapsed on a problem that has been causing long-term pain. In some cases, laser therapy can even provide the results a patient needs when surgery may have been considered as the only other feasible option.

Conditions that may be responsive to MLS laser therapy are not restricted only to those mentioned above. However, also keep in mind that not every instance of any of these conditions will always have MLS laser therapy recommended as a potential treatment. If we believe other forms of treatment can meet a patient’s particular needs better, we will recommend them instead.

We will always be glad to explain our reasoning behind recommending a certain course of treatment over another and answer any questions you may have about your options.
